The calculator runs in your browser. Your inputs, results, memory and calculation history are not transmitted to our servers.

What stays in your browser

Your latest 10 calculator queries are stored in this browser's local storage, so they can be restored after a reload. Each percentage, discount, age, BMI, unit-conversion and timezone tool can also save its latest 10 queries when you choose Calculate or Convert & save. These saved inputs can include dates of birth, height, weight and chosen dates or time zones.

Saved queries are not transmitted to us, but anyone using the same browser profile may be able to view them. Use the Clear control in each tool to remove its saved history, particularly on shared devices. Your browser's site-data controls can remove all stored history and preferences. Clearing ordinary browsing history alone may not remove local storage.

Calculator memory (M+, M− and MR) remains only while the page is open. Your color-theme preference is also saved locally. If browser storage is blocked or full, the calculator reports that history could not be saved; calculations still work.

What the server receives

Like any website, our hosting server receives the page URL, IP address and basic browser request information needed to deliver the site. Operational web-server logs may contain that information. Those requests do not include your calculations.

Google AdSense and third-party advertising

This site loads Google's AdSense script. Loading it makes requests to Google, which receives information such as your IP address, browser details and the page being visited. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or other identifiers for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention, depending on their settings and applicable consent requirements.

Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can manage Google advertising preferences through My Ad Center and manage cookies through your browser. Clearing calculator history does not clear Google's cookies or advertising preferences.

Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to measure page visits and website usage. The Google tag sends information such as the page address, referring website and browser or device details to Google and may use cookies to distinguish visits. We do not add calculator inputs, results or saved calculation history to Analytics events.

You can manage cookies through your browser or use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Fonts and application assets are served with the website. Copying a result uses your browser's clipboard only when you choose Copy.

Unindexed preview

The preview can be opened without a login and asks search engines not to index it. Noindex is not an access control and does not prevent third-party requests from the advertising and analytics scripts.
