How to convert temperature.
Temperature scales use different starting points as well as different-sized units. A Celsius degree and a kelvin are the same size, but their zero points differ by 273.15. A Celsius degree corresponds to a change of 1.8 Fahrenheit degrees.
°F = °C × 9/5 + 32. °C = (°F − 32) × 5/9. K = °C + 273.15.

These formulas convert temperature readings, not temperature differences. Absolute zero is 0 K, −273.15 °C or −459.67 °F; lower values are rejected. Water reference points assume approximately standard atmospheric pressure.
